Dr. Nabil is a highly respected Senior Consultant specialized in Emergency Medicine, with extensive clinical and leadership experience in the healthcare sector. Driven by a strong passion for quality medical services and community care, he founded Al Shumoos Medical Center as a private, family-owned healthcare facility in Barka.
Following its initial success, Dr. Nabil expanded Al Shumoos Medical Center to additional locations, including Sohar, and further diversified into related healthcare ventures such as Al Shumoos Pharmacy and the Al Shumoos Medical Institute. His strategic vision and commitment to excellence have positioned him as a successful and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer.
In addition to healthcare, Dr. Nabil’s entrepreneurial journey includes Al Meera Enterprises, a flagship and ongoing dream project committed to food security and safety in alignment with the 2040 Vision, as well as Boutique Meera. Each venture stands as a testament to his strong business acumen and diversified leadership.
Dr. Nabil holds the FRCPC designation, signifying completion of a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada–approved specialist residency program and successful achievement of board certification. He previously served as Head of the Emergency Department at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and was a member of the Arab Board Committee of Emergency Medicine in Syria. In addition, he worked as a private emergency physician for King Abdullah Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, further underscoring his extensive clinical expertise, leadership, and academic involvement. Dr. Nabil’s success extends beyond business performance. His dedication to societal well-being, service-oriented mindset, and commitment to sustainable development continue to drive meaningful impact across healthcare and enterprise sectors.
Ms. Shamsa Al Zadjali the General Manager of Al Shumoos Medical Center, a reputed healthcare organization owned by a family business. The center initially began operations in Barka and has since expanded its presence to multiple locations. Recently, Al- Shumoos Medical Center opened new clinics in Sohar, along with pharmacies, and established the Al Shumoos Medical Institute, reflecting its continued growth and commitment to healthcare excellence.
Ms. Shamsa holds a Master of Health Administration from Pennsylvania State University, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Management with an emphasis in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Arkansas State University, USA. She brings a strong background in healthcare administration, operations management, strategic planning, and marketing.
Her professional experience includes managing human resources, overseeing operational planning, and contributing to organizational growth initiatives. She has also completed several internships in healthcare institutions in both Oman and the United States, gaining hands-on experience in budgeting, protocol development, marketing strategy, and executive support.
Her passion for improving the quality of healthcare, combined with her leadership skills and dedication to social responsibility, has enabled her to transform her vision into reality and lead Al Shumoos Medical Center toward new heights.
